WatSan and Health NFIs Guidelines


In addition to water supply, sanitation, and health support, people affected by crisis also need certain non-food items (NFIs) for their immediate survival and eventual recovery. This document, WatSan and Health NFIs Guidelines, provides more information on the household kits.

Training Curriculum for Community-based Nutrition (including hygiene promotion module)

This curriculum was developed as part of an ECHO DRR Project in Kenya and Uganda.

There are sessions on good nutrition for special groups, promotion of hygiene in and around food (including hand-washing), promotion of good nutrition, identification of malnutrition, malnutrition management and monitoring the nutritional situation of a community.
